1. Minmatar Jokes - in Intergalactic Summit [original thread]
A Brutor slave takes his girlfriend to his Amarr master. The Brutor says, "My girlfriend is good in bed, and I'll let you have her, but in exchange, you have to set me free." The Amarr says, "That sounds fair, so I'll make you a deal. If I have s...

2. Lets all buy some gtc's!!! - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Plenty of people lose when GTC to ISK sales happen. Namely, every line subscriber who pays as they go, rather than through piecemeal timecodes. They have to put up with a mass of EVE characters who tie up research slots, tie up customer service r...

3. I don't have a doctorate in economics but... - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Try to think of ISK as a commodity, like Tritanium or Datacores. What ISK 'does' is provide a medium of exchange for goods and services both in-game (like purchasing modules), and out-of-game (like purchasing TS/vent service, webhosting, or signat...

4. I don't have a doctorate in economics but... - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
If inflation was a problem, we'd see signs. 1) We wouldn't be able to buy, for example, Punishers for 300,000 ISK. We'd need 600,000 ISK for the same ship. 2) We'd find shortages of commodities we need. Armor repairer IIs and Tech 2 ammo would no...

6. Nosferatu and Khanid changes on the test server, new Blog by Fendahl - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
I agree with a lot of the posters here that the NOS change is too complicated and radical. I agree that they need to be balanced, but there are far more elegant solutions, such as sig radius based balancing, stacking penalties, etc. The Khanid Mk...

13. A solution for suicide ganking in highsec... - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Assuming that CCP can enforce the recycle rule, why is it in their interest to ban accounts over this? CS is already swamped, and it's impossible to tell with any certainty what the account has been up to. Besides, do you really think that they ar...

14. The simplest and most elegent solution the the suicide ganking problem - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
It seems to me that the most simple and elegant solution is not to buy freighters and industrials, and do missions instead. Hauling was a thankless and worthless job before the suicide ganking, never mind now.
